This is Jamie. He puts the ‘Jamie’ in ‘Jamie & the First Class’. He has been in the biz over 15 years so he knows what he’s doing or at least he should by now. Want powerful vocals, awesome guitar skills and questionable dance moves? He’s your guy! Jamie not only fronts the band, but works hard behind the scenes to make sure everyone has everything they need. He also takes charge of sewing on those pesky buttons and polishing the van. This is Bev, he is our lead guitarist. He is very brilliant at guitar and great at ‘the crab walk’. Bev is also a wonderful singer with a beautiful voice (some say like Aled Jones). Bev not only sings and plays guitar, but is also an experienced dancer. He produces dance moves leaving audiences’ speechless. Some have compared this hot footed moves to the likes of Riverdance. You have to see it to believe it. When Bev isn’t producing great guitar lines, he teaches guitar. Follow him on Twitter.
This is our percussionist, dancer and secret weapon. She sorts out the boys & gets them where they need to be. She writes lots of letters and emails. She also takes most of the photos so we don’t have many of her. Hazza provides the main energy source of the band & never stops dancing or emailing. She sings & plays tambourine, cabasa, cowbell & shakers. Follow her on Twitter.
Stuart plays bass and he also sings and plays the mandolin. Stuart is the newest member of the first class. He’s from Lincolnshire but grew up in Bristol and lives in Melksham. He teaches bass guitar in Wilthsire, please let us know if you want lessons. Here is a picture of him backstage on the phone. Follow Stuart on Twitter.
This is Mike, he is the drummer. He is also very strong. He has the biggest muscles in his house. He likes fish. But I guess you knew that. Mike is brilliant at the drums. He’s so good he even teaches other people how to play the drums. Mike like’s vests and toffee crisp. When you see him, give him toffee crisp. Follow him on Twitter
The band also perform a 1960s show The Zoots 1960s show
